Charlie didn't want his picture taken so he covered his face. Made the picture perfect to add some rain. I used the same settings as in class. It was overcast that day (Easter 2002), but it wasn't raining--I promise. |

This was taken last Easter (2001). It was overcast that day, but not raining when I took the picture. I wanted it to look like a light drizzle. I set the paintbrush hardness to 20, density 6, and opacity 50. I set the blur angle to 6 and the intensity to 30. You need to click on the picture to see the enlarged version in order to really see the rain. |

I had taken this picture out my front door because the snow looked pretty (first snow always looks pretty; subsequent snows are just a nuisance). I didn't alter the picture. I tried to make it look like it was snowing. I'm sure there's a better way to do this, but I set the paintbrush hardness to 50, density to 6, opacity 100. I set the blur angle to 8 and the pixel intensity to 20. I played around with the settings, but this was a close as I could come to snow.
